What to expect during your visit to the clinic?
Upon coming to this clinic you will be received very courteously by the reception staff. The reception staff will issue the token at your scheduled appointment time. Your arrival will be intimated to the doctor and you will be examined by the doctor at the earliest.
We will try to expedite the process of consultation so that there is minimal waiting for the parents. However, an eye examination for a child usually takes longer than an adult, and it may be trying for the parents at times. Pediatric eye doctors are generally comfortable with all types of children and the children are comfortable with them and so are the parents. Hence whenever you visit us, please come prepared for a pleasant and satisfying consultation.

We use electronic medical record keeping to ensure that every patient's detailed medical records are always available with us and can be printed / emailed as many times as necessary forever.
We believe in absolute transparency, hence, every patient is given away a hard copy of their medical record along with the clinical photographs of their eye conditions at the time of first consultation and subsequently after the treatment. High quality waterproof proof photo paper and Epson L210 inkjet printer is used to print the photographs for minute recording and capturing of patients details. Clinical photography, videography, slit lamp photography, fundus videography, video nystagmography as well as surgical videography are available a Jyotirmay eye clinic.
Each and every penny received or spent by the clinic is accounted for. There is no scope for evading the income tax in this clinic.
As part of our policy of complete transparency, the rate card for OPD consultation and every surgery that is undertaken by the clinic is displayed on the notice boards as well as available on the website.
While the parents and patients are waiting for their turn to see the doctor, children are kept busy in a spacious play area full with toys that interest children of various ages.

Although, we have noticed that most parents carry an adequate supply of water for them and their kids. Special arrangements are made to avail fresh, hygienic, cool as well as warm water in the clinic.
