Why Neuro-Ophthalmology Disorders Require Timely Intervention?

Neuro-ophthalmology deals with vision-related problems caused by any diseases or disorders concerning the nervous system.
These disorders encompass not only the vision but also eye movement, alignment, and pupil reflexes.
The most important thing to remember is that once there is a problem, visual loss may be permanent and irreversible, unless treated early on.
Importantly, many of these presentations are important to pick up life threatening or systemic diseases that need urgent attention.
That’s why neuro-ophthalmology disorders require prompt action and treatment.
