Dr. Pooja Ghalla Gogri
She is an alumnus of the prestigious Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Group of hospitals, Mumbai.
After completing her graduation with MBBS, she went on to pursue her Ophthalmology training and became an ophthalmic surgeon with 3 feathers in her cap- acing with 3 Gold Medals at her Post graduate examination.
Post Ophthalmology training and multiple stints in several hospitals, she went on to discover her passion in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, while pursuing a short-term fellowship with the GPOS under the best mentors in Mumbai.
There was no looking back since then, she went on to live her dream by setting her brick solid foundation with a long-term fellowship in Paediatric ophthalmology, Strabismus and Neuro-ophthalmology from the internationally renowned Eye Institute- Narayana Nethralaya in Bangalore.
She now continues on the path which drives her passionately.
She is currently attached to Dr. L.H Hiranandani Hospital (Powai), Nahar Medical Center (Chandivali) She is an ex-honorary visiting faculty at KEM Hospital (Parel).
At Bai Jerbai Wadia Children’s Hospital (Parel) she serves those in need.
Her interests include- Cortical Vision impairment, children with special needs and catering to a child as a whole, treatment of simple and complex squints, nystagmus and Neuroophthalmology.
She absolutely adores children and loves her time spent in clinic with them. She dreams of doctors being a child’s friend. It is probably this that makes children want to come back to her for follow ups happily
Dr. Anil Jadhav
Dr Anil Jadhav is an alumnus of the prestigious Topiwala National Medical College and B Y L NAIR Hospital , Mumbai.
After completing his MBBS from Kolhapur, he meritoriously achieved seat in the renowned Medical College and completed his MS in Ophthalmology training under the Stalwarts in the field. He continued his journey of learning and successfully completed DOMS, FCPS and DNB in Ophthalmology. In 2016 , he pursuit short term fellowship in Medical Retina from the Internationally renowned Eye Institute- Arvind Eye Hospital , Pondicherry.
He is a talented and energetic young Ophthalmologist who also worked with Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University Medical College, Pune as Lecturer for couple of years.
He is currently attached to Khan Bahadur Bhabha Hospital, Kurla- Mumbai (BMC) as Senior Consultant DNB GRADE 1 teacher and HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT. He is also associated with Agarwal charitable eye hospital, Kurla and Sai criticare hospital, Thane as a senior consultant.
His love for charitable work is evident in his selfless service to the community and his efforts to make sure that no patient is denied the opportunity to get access to the best quality of eye treatment. He has played important role in the Sight First Project –Up gradation of the department of Ophthalmology Nair Hospital under LIONS CLUB OF BYCULLA. He is actively involved in LIONS CLUB OF ALIBAUG and LIONS CLUB OF KURLA projects for serving needy and poor patients.
His interests include-cataract, refractive surgery, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Vivek Rathod
Vivek Rathod is a qualified pediatric optometrist trained at world renowned L.V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad.
Qualifications: Bachelor in Optometry, Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital, Wadala. Fellowship in Pediatric Optometry, L.V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. Position: Head of Pediatric Optometry services.
He completed his bachelors in optometry from 2009 to 2013 at renowned Aditya Jyot Hospital, Wadala.
Having a soft corner towards children and being fun loving, prompted him to specialize in paediatric optometry.
He was 1 among the 4 selected from over a hundred optometrists, at the world renowned L.V.P.E.I, Hyderabad and he pursued his long term fellowship for 13 months in paediatric optometry.
Being guided by the best in the business, he could finish his fellowship and earn the title of certified paediatric optometrist.
In his journey from being amateur to being professional, being part timer to full timer Jyotirmay eye clinic was always a part of it.
Under the able guidance of Dr Mihir Kothari, he could further polish the fine nuances of optometry, ethical practices and transparency in imparting service to patients.
He has consistently been a part of the academics and research at the clinic.
Having a keen interest in teaching, he has been a visiting faculty in training optometry students at his alma mater for several years.
He has also trained fellows in optometry in the field of pediatric optometry.

Dr. Sharang Wartikar is a young, compassionate and skilled vitreo-retinal surgeon.
